"There seems to be a recurring theme in other reviews about communication and having to chase, and unfortunately that was also my experience. I arranged for Acorn to visit and spec/quote for a shower enclosure. The initial appointment time was missed, and after waiting an hour I contacted the office. A few hours later I received a call back and an afternoon visit was arranged, which was appreciated. Ryan, who attended, was friendly and professional. I was advised I would receive a quote early the following week. However, nothing arrived. I followed up at the end of that week by phone, including chasing an important query we were waiting on before other trades could proceed with work around the shower area. I received no response. I called again the following week, the lady on the phone did seem genuinely sympathetic and a bit embarrassed we were having to chase. I was told someone would be in touch. Again, nothing. If the job wasn’t something Acorn wanted to take on, I would have much preferred being told so. That would have allowed us to move forward with another company without delaying the wider project. A simple update either way would have made all the difference."

"I recently reached out to Acorn Glass &Glaszing for a quote on fixing my windows and doors. A representative came to my home a few weeks ago to assess the project, and I was informed that I would receive a response early the following week. It has now been nearly three weeks, and I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and follow-up from them. Despite reminding them about my request, I have received no response or updates regarding my quote. This level of unresponsiveness is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. As a potential customer, I expected better customer service. I understand that businesses can get very busy but , still should be responsible for what they are promised for!"

"We popped in on the off chance, to get a can of spray paint for our car. They were able to scan the colour, ( if you know your colour it helps them out too ) get 2 cans made, pay and be out within 30mins. Great service, thank you."
